How It Works
Once you are on the phone with a member of our support team, you will be directed back to this page after your support representative provides you with a unique connection code. You will then enter the code in the field and click the button to initiate the screen-sharing session.
You are prompted to download a small virus-free plug-in.
With your permission, your support representative can view your screen and share control of your mouse and keyboard.
You are in full control of your computer at all times. You always have overriding control of your mouse and keyboard, and you can end the screen-sharing session at any time.
REMOTE SYSTEM AUTHORIZATION
I give Nationwide consent to access my computer remotely using GoToAssist. I understand that in evaluating and resolving the reported issue, Nationwide may need to retrieve electronic data or other records stored on my system. I also understand that Nationwide may also scan my computer and add or delete software, programs, and code to update my system and resolve the reported issue. I understand that Nationwide will not be responsible for any damage caused to my computer by Nationwide or GoToAssist in attempting to resolve the reported issue. In addition, the video of this session may be recorded.If I agree to these terms, I will type my name, the code I received from my representative, and click the “Accept” button to proceed.If I do not agree to these terms, I will close this window and Nationwide will not use GoToAssist, and my representative will continue to work with me over the phone to resolve my issue.
